Maintenance Technician responsible for general property maintenance at Riverwood Heights apartments, including electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and carpentry; perform regular inspections of common areas, fixtures, plumbing, appliances, and pools/hot tubs (if applicable); complete apartment turnovers within three days of vacancy; maintain inventory and organize the maintenance shop; respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating on-call schedule; complete work orders within 24 hours to ensure resident satisfaction; ensure adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and excellent curb appeal; provide professional resident interaction and support employee-friendly services; on-site duties account for ~90% property grounds inspections and ~10% office work; requires High School Diploma/equivalent and 1+ year maintenance experience; own hand tools and reliable transportation; on-site duties may involve lifting 20-50 pounds and potential weekend work.
