Maintenance Technician - Aspire

Job Summary

Conduct general maintenance and upkeep for a 226-unit market rate portfolio, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and landscaping. Respond to resident work orders and resolve tenant requests within 24 hours, while preparing and turning vacated apartments in a timely manner. Perform hands-on repairs, diagnose problems, and execute preventive maintenance schedules for building equipment. Walk the property daily to ensure rule compliance and maintain exterior grounds and interior common areas. Assist vendors, manage maintenance budgets, and report lease violations to management. Requires Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm schedule with evening and weekend on-call rotations; must live within 30 minutes of the Westminster, CO property.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Completion of a craft apprenticeship
  • Equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
  • 1-4 years of experience in maintenance or related carpentry/construction
  • Experience in residential or commercial real estate
  • Special boilers license
  • Willingness to obtain a special boilers license
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
  • Willingness to obtain a Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Safe driving record
  • Pass Motor Vehicle Record check (MVR)
  • Own hand tools
  • Reliable vehicle with insurance
  • Must live within 30 minutes of property
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with community tenants, vendors / external parties, and across corporate divisions

  • Willingness and ability to run errands to hardware store for maintenance supplies, cleaning supplies, or other items
