Job Summary
Respond promptly to all service requests and work orders, prioritizing emergency repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance systems. Execute the make-ready process on vacant apartments within seven days, conducting pre-move-in inspections, completing punch list tasks, and performing final quality assurance walk-throughs. Perform routine maintenance on common areas, manage inventory supplies, and assist with seasonal duties like snow removal. Maintain accurate records of all work performed and adhere strictly to safety protocols and OSHA requirements. Required to be on-call for after-hours emergencies; must hold a valid driver's license and work independently or as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in property maintenance, apartment maintenance, or a related field
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service requests
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to bend, kneel, walk, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
- Ability to operate a variety of machinery and equipment safely
- Required to be on-call for after hours emergencies as scheduled

Desired Qualifications
- Technical or vocational training
- Certification in HVAC, CPO (Certified Pool Operator), or other specialized trades
