MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Maintenance Technician responsible for hands-on support to the maintenance team to keep facilities, equipment, and grounds operating safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include assisting with daily cleaning and upkeep, performing minor repairs (e.g., replacing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, minor structural issues), executing scheduled preventive maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, monitoring and reporting issues, logging work orders, collaborating with senior maintenance staff, maintaining tools and supplies, restocking and storing equipment, following safety guidelines and PPE usage, reporting unsafe conditions, and providing clear updates on tasks and future needs. Requires basic familiarity with tools and a willingness to learn about building systems; strong communication and physical capability for lifting, bending, and walking on various surfaces.
