Job Summary
Diagnoses and performs maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings, carpet, tile, flooring, gutter, lighting, fireplaces, ceiling fans, doors, cabinets, windows, locks, security systems; handles resident work orders; performs unit make-ready repairs to market-ready status; uses personal smartphone to respond to emergency maintenance calls; assists in grounds and interior maintenance; contributes to a team and supports residents' needs with a proactive attitude; maintains safety and integrity of the property.
Required Qualifications
- HVAC certification preferred
- EPA license Type II or Universal preferred
- OSHA 10 hour preferred
- Certified pool operator license (CPO), required at properties with a pool, in compliance with state and municipal requirements. If not certified, the ability to become certified within the timeframe designated by the community manager.
- Prior experience (1-2 years) in related field preferred.
- State driver’s license and working vehicle for business use.
