Job Summary
Facilities Technician/Facilities Specialist tasked with completing assigned maintenance work orders and routine building upkeep. Responsibilities include performing routine carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, and general maintenance; conducting inspections of facilities, grounds, and equipment; assisting with preventive maintenance of building systems; maintaining tools and work areas; assisting with furniture moves and facility support activities; supporting life safety and compliance activities; participating in on-call rotations; maintaining accurate maintenance records and work-order documentation; and coordinating with vendors/contractors on-site. Requires a high school diploma or GED, basic trade knowledge, 1–3 years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license. Shift aligns with core hours 8:00am–4:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical school, trade certification, or related vocational training preferred
- One to three years of facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or related experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance
- Valid driver’s license (MO Residents require Class E)
