Job Summary
Maintenance Technician for an RV Resort in New Orleans, responsible for general maintenance across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, landscaping, and facilities, ensuring a presentable, safe community; perform routine repairs, upkeep of common areas and facilities, trash removal, site maintenance, water testing for well-water/sewer systems, and pool maintenance as applicable; requires 1-2 years maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, ability to work outdoors year-round, English literacy, and reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 to 2 years of maintenance experience
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Demonstrated knowledge of and broad experience in general maintenance
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with residents, guests and co-workers
- Motivation and dedication to serving customers and a job well done
- Must be able to work outdoors throughout the year
- Proficient with various hand tools and power equipment
- Must be within commuting distance to property with reliable transportation
