Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Inspect and repair production equipment, including PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems, to reduce downtime. Complete scheduled preventative maintenance, drain and filter parts washers, and perform major or minor repairs as assigned by the Maintenance Manager. Maintain accurate documentation of all completed work and adapt to changing daily tasks with minimal supervision. Collaborate closely with Engineering and Production teams to support line objectives while ensuring a clean and neat work environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of equivalent work experience
  • Some mechanical and/or electrical experience
  • Good documentation skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well with other departments
  • Ability to maintain a clean and neat work environment
  • Ability to adapt in constantly changing situations
  • Use of hand tools
  • Ability to manage time effectively and multitask

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word
  • Familiarity with Excel
  • Familiarity with MP2
  • Experience with PLC
  • Experience with Pneumatics
  • Experience with Hydraulics
  • Experience with 24vdc discrete I/O
  • Experience with mechanical repairs
  • Experience with Motor and Motor controls
  • Experience with 480vac
  • Experience with Drain, clean and filter/change parts washers
  • Experience with preventative maintenance
