Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for the overall daily maintenance of the apartment community, including maintaining equipment, performing unit turnover maintenance on vacant units, promptly handling resident service calls, conducting daily property and mechanical inspections, performing preventive maintenance, using work order systems to track tasks, and assisting with inventory. Must operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies, maintain knowledge of property policies, and handle rotating after-hours on-call duties. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software is expected, along with strong communication and organizational skills. Collaboration with staff, vendors, and residents is essential, as is a focus on safe, efficient, and timely maintenance activities.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Organized and manages time well
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with Property Management Software
- Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety policies
