Maintenance Technician (Apartment Communities)

Job Summary
Complete assigned maintenance service requests, turnover work orders, and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general upkeep. Conduct move-in/move-out inspections, monitor property grounds for hazards, and support preventative maintenance efforts. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to after-hours emergency needs. Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident concerns promptly and collaborate with property managers to prioritize tasks. Utilize the work order system to receive, update, and close requests in real time while maintaining accurate service logs and documentation. Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations during daily activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Physically able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET, on-call rotation
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily or residential property management
