Job Summary
Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, boilers, and chillers. Execute unit turns by preparing apartments for new residents through repairs, painting, cleaning, and inspections. Conduct janitorial duties across common areas, amenities, and exterior grounds, while managing snow removal, landscaping, and pest control initiatives. Identify hazards and perform routine safety checks on life safety installations and the entire premises. Maintain exceptional curb appeal by removing debris and ensuring facility cleanliness. Work full-time with on-call availability for after-hours emergencies, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems
- HVAC certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines
- Able to be on-call for responding to after-hours emergencies
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
