Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic circuits on injection-molding equipment by reading schematics and executing lock-out/tag-out procedures. Perform daily preventive maintenance checks and maintain the plant facility while initiating solutions to prevent downtime through continuous improvement ideas. Collaborate with equipment suppliers to determine root causes of failures and implement permanent solutions. Own and maintain the required basic tool set for essential duties. This role requires a valid driver's license, forklift experience, and the ability to work a 12-hour shift on a rotating 2/2/3 schedule. Prior injection-molding maintenance experience is required, with additional skills in welding, refrigeration, or machine shop training being a plus.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Eligible to work in the United States of America
- Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen & Authorize Background Check
- Must be able to work a 12-Hour Shift
- Prior Maintenance Technician experience
- Injection molding experience
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Must demonstrate good judgment and decision-making ability
- Must possess interpersonal skills and be able to communicate on all levels
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Forklift experience
- Willing to learn forklift operation
- Basic ability in welding
- Basic ability in brazing
- Basic ability in soldering
- Basic ability in silver brazing
- Basic ability in refrigeration repair
- Basic ability in machine shop training
- Basic ability in fabrication in plastic
- Basic ability in electronic repair
