Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for repairing and maintaining production equipment and building systems. Performs regularly scheduled maintenance on equipment and machinery, diagnoses problems, replaces defective parts, and fabricates as needed. Supports and complies with food safety and environmental guidelines. Emphasizes safety and operational reliability as part of Amcor’s commitment to quality, service, and innovation in packaging. Requires basic math, English language skills, welding and carpentry abilities, mechanical troubleshooting, and physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing towers as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Welding skills
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Hands on manufacturing mechanical experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Ability to troubleshoot & solve problems
- Carpentry skills
- Basic manufacturing wiring experience
- No fear of heights
