Job Summary
Maintenance Technician (Nights Shift 7pm–7am) responsible for troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, maintaining GMP/SQF and food-safety compliance, and ensuring safe, efficient operation. Duties include 15-minute shift turnover, detailed maintenance logging, preventative maintenance, and updating status of machines; requires experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, basic electrical troubleshooting, heater bands/relays, lockout/tagout, and forklift operation, plus familiarity with stretch/injection blow molding and resin/blending systems. Rotating schedule (15 days/month) with a bi-weekly pattern, and adherence to company safety values.
Required Qualifications
- Two to five years as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment
- Experience troubleshooting production equipment
- Lock Out/Tag Out knowledge
- Forklift certification
- Basic electrical troubleshooting
- Hydraulics and pneumatics troubleshooting
- GMP and SQF compliance knowledge
- Food Safety compliance
- Ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with Stretch Blow Molding or Injection Blow Molding preferred
- Experience with resin and blending systems preferred
