Job Summary
Conduct preventative and specialized maintenance on facility equipment and automation systems, documenting repairs daily via computerized Preventive Maintenance programs. Troubleshoot and diagnose control systems while collaborating with production teams to ensure safe, cost-effective operations. Maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulations by managing wastewater systems, retaining required documentation, and operating industrial equipment including forklifts. Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and respond promptly to equipment failures. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to work in confined spaces, and experience with steam, hydraulics, and PLCs.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- 2+ years industrial maintenance
- Electric schematics
- Low voltage troubleshooting
- Controls
- Steam/boiler operation
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Safety compliance (e.g. LOTO, hot work, confined space)
- Wastewater treatment
- Boiler operator license (some states)
- Wastewater certification (some states)
- Computerized preventative maintenance systems
- Valid driver's license
- Driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding or other safety violations
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, and work in confined spaces
- Ability to reach overhead and work at heights using ladders or lifts (15 feet or more)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to push or pull carts up to 500 lbs.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other industrial equipment
- Reading, writing, speaking, and hearing
- Background and safety sensitive drug screening
