Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment and facility systems. Duties include start-up/shut-down procedures, electrical troubleshooting, boiler operation, welding, hydraulics/pneumatics, reading electrical schematics, conducting preventative maintenance, responding to emergency repairs, and maintaining accurate maintenance records. Requires adherence to safety rules and continuous improvement of maintenance processes; travel occasionally to procure parts. Qualifications include two years of maintenance experience, PLC programming, and certification/licensing as applicable; high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalency preferred
- valid driver's license
- 2 years maintenance/engineering experience with machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, boiler applications
- PLC programming experience
- English verbal and written communication
- ability to follow directions and perform basic math
- team player with initiative and commitment to quality
