Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment and facility systems, including start-up/shut-down procedures, electrical troubleshooting, boiler operation, welding and cutting, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, reading schematics, and ensuring safe, efficient operation. Role requires following safety rules, documenting maintenance, and coordinating with plant personnel; offers full-time schedule (Mon-Fri with Saturday work after a Holiday) and competitive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years maintenance engineering experience with knowledge of machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welder and boiler applications
- Proficient in the proper use of power and hand tools
- Strong electrical troubleshooting ability of 3 phase 230 volt systems
- PLC programming experience
- Experience in carpentry, boiler repair, welding, and general facility repairs
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to comprehend and follow directions; basic math; good time management
- Must be a team player with enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work; self-starter focused on continual quality improvement
- Have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record free of chargeable incidents
