Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment and facility systems; performs start-up/shut-down procedures, electrical troubleshooting, boilers, welding, hydraulics/pneumatics, reading schematics, and preventative maintenance; maintains records, adheres to safety rules, and seeks opportunities to improve maintenance processes while coordinating with plant personnel and following supervisor instructions.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalency preferred
- valid driver’s license
- minimum of two years maintenance/engineering experience
- experience with machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, boiler applications
- PLC programming experience
- English verbal and written communication skills
- ability to comprehend and follow direction
