Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Perform maintenance on proprietary ALPLA equipment including Extrusion, Stretch, and Injection Molding machines, conducting regular preventive maintenance, adjustments, and predictive diagnostics. Diagnose technical malfunctions using systematic troubleshooting to restore equipment functionality and execute repairs independently or with guidance. Contribute to general facility maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, organized working environment. Maximize MP2 data input for monthly performance reviews and complete required online skills training. Requires high school diploma, basic mechanical understanding, hydraulics/pneumatics knowledge, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Required Qualifications

  • Min High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Industrial Maintenance Safety
  • Basic mechanical understanding and repair capability
  • Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Knowledge of occupational math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Problem-solving and team collaboration capabilities
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs
  • Must have close vision
  • Must be able to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Must be able to talk or hear
  • Must be able to very occasionally climb or balance
  • Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • Must be able to act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner by adhering to all ALPLA policies and procedures and Safety Standards (OSHA)

Desired Qualifications

  • 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience at ALPLA or similar industry
