Job Summary
Set up proprietary ALPLA equipment and conduct regular preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality and prolong equipment lifespan. Perform adjustments to machinery as needed and utilize predictive maintenance methodologies, such as condition monitoring, to identify potential issues before downtime occurs. Diagnose technical problems in molding machines using a systematic approach, collaborate with technical experts to address routine issues, and execute repairs independently or with guidance to restore equipment functionality promptly. Contribute to general facility maintenance tasks and assist in maintaining a safe, organized working environment. Complete required Amatrol Online Skills Training and meet monthly performance metrics regarding repair timeliness and data input.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Industrial Maintenance Safety
- Basic mechanical understanding and repair capability
- Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Knowledge of occupational math skills for measurements and calculations
- Problem-solving and team collaboration capabilities
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs
- Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs
- Specific close vision abilities
Desired Qualifications
- 2-year technical degree
- Equivalent experience at ALPLA or similar industry
