Job Summary
Maintenance Technician – Electrical Focus at Alleima Precision Tube site in Scottdale, PA. Responsible for assisting in the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines; troubleshooting malfunctions with a strong emphasis on electrical systems; reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical manuals; fabricating repair parts; maintaining equipment and spare parts inventory; contributing to downtime reduction by informing production workers of routine maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance; ensuring a safe and clean work environment in accordance with lockout/tagout safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, trade school degree preferred
- Industrial experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
- Hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems including 3-phase power, 120V–480V, DC drive systems and motor controls
- Ability to safely work with high- and low-voltage systems and knowledge of electrical safety standards
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and manufacturing environments is preferred
