Job Summary
Maintenance Technician at AeroSafe Global responsible for automation, facilities, and machinery initiatives. Troubleshoot equipment in real-time with Operations, implement upgrades, and ensure system reliability. Duties include end-to-end automation implementation (mechanical/electrical integration, field installation), daily troubleshooting/calibration of automation systems, addressing production-line disruptions, collaboration with mechanical/electrical/PLC suppliers, and performing basic preventive maintenance. Must apply safety protocols and maintain records; forklift operation may be required; role involves working across manufacturing, fabrication, and warehouse environments and adherence to EH&S policies.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years maintenance and automation experience
- Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC software
- Basic computer skills for work orders and parts management
- Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools and power tools
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability and/or willingness to drive a forklift
- Self-motivated and driven to exceed goals
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Pre-employment drug screen
