Job Summary
Perform entry to mid-level break-fix and preventative maintenance, including adjusting devices, repairing defective parts, and operating simple machining tools like lathes and drill presses. Identify needed parts and supplies, update CMMS records, and participate in continuous improvement activities focused on cost savings. Provide backup support to department members and perform basic troubleshooting of control systems circuitry while adhering to safety policies and 5S standards. Maintain situational awareness to identify unsafe conditions and complete technical self-study programs for career development.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Associates degree with a Technical focus
- 18 months of related experience in general industry
- Successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program
- Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to perform repairs
- Ability to use basic hand tools
