Job Summary
Perform entry to mid-level break-fix and preventative maintenance by adjusting devices, repairing defective parts, and reconditioning machine tools. Identify needed supplies, update CMMS records, and troubleshoot control systems circuitry. Operate simple machining operations on lathes and drill presses, including basic welding tasks. Support department members as needed and maintain 5S compliance while adhering to safety policies. Complete technical self-study programs for career development. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, and ability to use hand tools. Salary range $24.83–$31.76 USD.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Associates degree with a Technical focus
- 18 months of related experience in general industry
- Successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program
- Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to perform repairs
- Ability to use basic hand tools
