Job Summary
Maintenance Technician Level 1 responsible for a broad range of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair, and construction tasks across agency facilities and grounds, including installation, service and repair of residential appliances, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, electrical wiring, painting, grounds maintenance, and safety/compliance reporting; perform preventative maintenance and inspections, maintain logs and documentation, assist with moving and setup, and operate under NYS Building Code and NFPA Life Safety Code. Requires a high school diploma or equivalency and typically two years of relevant experience; schedule is full-time with potential evenings, weekends, and on-call.
