Job Summary
Repair and maintain CNC machinery, engines, motors, and conveyor systems using hand and power tools, precision instruments, and manufacturer specifications. Diagnose equipment issues by observing operation and listening for sounds, then dismantle units to replace defective parts and adjust electrical wiring, switches, and controls. Perform periodic inspections, lubrication, and cleaning, while installing, dismantling, and calibrating gages and meters. Disassemble and align machinery, including moving equipment with hoists and cranes, and conduct light facility maintenance as needed. Full-time role Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime possible. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- completion of a craft apprenticeship
- an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
- Four or more years of manufacturing experience
- strong CNC skills
- hydraulic skills
- pneumatic skills
- mechanical skills
- industrial skills
- some PLC experience
- Monday through Friday
- 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- 40 hours per week
- Overtime may be required based on business needs
Desired Qualifications
- An AA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance
- Vacuum furnace experience
- carpentry experience
- 3-phase electrical experience
