Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for the repair and upkeep of equipment and the facility. Responsibilities include both planned and predictive maintenance and breakdown repair, with overtime and potential weekend work. Duties cover locating and diagnosing failures, replacing defective components, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining machinery (pneumatic tools, motors, conveyors, production machines), testing electrical circuits, inspecting wiring for safety, assisting engineers, following preventive maintenance schedules, preparing machines for operation, maintaining a safe and clean shop, and supporting production and maintenance teams.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience
- Certifications in specialty areas required as applicable. Or acquire within specified timing
- any licenses necessary to perform the job.
