Job Summary
Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on store facilities and equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting restroom facilities, service islands, and fuel pumps. Perform regular safety inspections, manage fuel and non-fuel inventory levels, and coordinate with external vendors for extensive repairs. Address emergency maintenance issues promptly while ensuring compliance with all safety policies and Tribal Internal Control Standards. Maintain store exterior cleanliness and provide customer service by assisting with point-of-sale systems and inventory guidance. Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and 24/7 emergency calls in extreme weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass periodic random drug screens
- Must be able to pass background suitability investigation
- Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment
- Must be able to work in all extreme weather conditions
- Must be flexible to work any and all hours
- Must be available for emergency calls 24/7
- Must be available to work weekend and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or GED) Preferred
- Previous experience in travel center maintenance preferred
- Previous experience in maintenance or repair work
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Knowledge of maintenance related to travel centers
