Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance systems to produce move-in ready apartments. Execute general upkeep of grounds, including snow removal as necessary, while resolving tickets to maintain customer service excellence. Work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with potential overtime, adhering to a rotating on-call schedule. Assist with renovations and other duties as required. This full-time role is part of the 5812 Maintenance Team at a residential property management company managing over 6,000 Columbus Metro units.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Maintenance Experience or trade school education
- HVAC certification or the willingness to obtain one
- Driver's License and valid car insurance
- Personal, reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Basic computer skills; comfortable with apps and software
- Possess basic hand tools or can acquire them
- Service mentality and a thirst for learning
- Positive Can-Do Attitude
- Excellent Attendance
- On-call rotation required
