Job Summary
Respond to maintenance requests and perform preventative maintenance, including painting, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs. Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness, coordinating with outside contractors as needed. Execute effective emergency after-hours maintenance and ensure work orders are completed professionally and promptly. Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents while maintaining accurate documentation. This role involves weekend and holiday work with on-call availability for emergencies, situated at two properties in Auburn and Federal Way.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current driver's license and proof of automobile insurance
- Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
- Must be available for weekend and holiday work
- Ability to be oncall for emergencies
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting, carrying, transportation, and manipulation of maintenance equipment and appliances
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend, kneeling, stooping, climbing, and balancing
- Must be able to respond to maintenance requests as directed
- Must be able to ensure work orders are responded to professionally and promptly
- Must be able to perform preventative maintenance and apartment turns including painting, diagnosing problems, and repairs in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, appliances, etc.
- Must be able to inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness
- Must be able to work with outside contractors as needed
- Must be able to perform effective emergency (after hours) maintenance as required

Desired Qualifications
