Job Summary
Diagnose and complete repairs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance. Schedule, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance activities while completing apartment turns to prepare units for new residents. Inspect buildings, grounds, and common areas to identify maintenance needs and ensure all work meets company standards. Coordinate vendors, oversee bid collection, and submit maintenance documentation. Deliver exceptional customer service regarding repair timelines and promote a positive living experience. Support on-call and after-hours maintenance needs as assigned. Work Monday–Friday with extended hours, evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment and tools
- Availability for night, weekend, and on-call responsibilities
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of experience in electrical, painting, drywall, plumbing, or related maintenance trades
- EPA Certification (Type I and II)
- HVAC Certification
- CPO Certification (Pool)
- Other licenses or certifications as required by state law
- Experience in multifamily or student housing environments
