Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for routine maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment, diagnosing malfunctions, and implementing repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency. Performs line equipment setups, conducts performance tests, assists in installation of new manufacturing equipment, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards. Requires High School Diploma and 1-3 years in manufacturing maintenance; preferred technical/vocational training and OSHA-related safety knowledge. Emphasizes mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, hydraulic and electrical systems knowledge, and strong communication and documentation skills. Shift is 3rd, on-site at Countryside, IL.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalant (Required)
- Technical or Vocational Training in Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance (Preferred)
- 1-3 years Experience in manufacturing maintenance or a related field (Required)
- 1-3 years Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems maintenance (Preferred)
