Job Summary
Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of manufacturing machinery and facilities, including repair of automated controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and preventive maintenance. The role requires reading schematics/blueprints, performing major electrical, mechanical, and construction repairs, and communicating status in the work order system. The position uses lock-out/tag-out procedures and requires mobility within the facility; the candidate should be self-motivated with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills and be willing to adapt to changing priorities. The role emphasizes self-starting preventative maintenance to achieve 100% uptime, collaboration with internal customers, and readiness to engage with outside service providers as needed. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required or GED equivalent required
- Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or equivalent preferred
- Experience with Industrial Machinery preferred
- Three (3) plus years of experience in Maintenance is preferred, but not required
- Strong mechanical skills
- Basic electrical skills
- Comprehension of schematics/blueprints
- Knowledge of Hydraulic/pneumatic systems desirable
