Job Summary
Maintenance Technician on 3rd shift responsible for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across green blending, roasting, packaging, and distribution; perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, read basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics; operate forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts; follow lockout/tagout procedures and comply with GMPs/SSOPs and food-safety programs; participate in safety initiatives and continuous-improvement projects; requires 1+ years of technician experience and Minnesota Electrical Unlicensed Individual certification, basic electrical circuits knowledge, welding and fabricating experience, and familiarity with SCADA systems (e.g., Scolari); must be able to lift up to 80 pounds, work on your feet, and handle physical demands; shift is 10:00 PM–6:30 AM; location is Brooklyn Center, Minnesota; salary range $28–$35 per hour with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of related experience in the technician field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minnesota Electrical Unlicensed Individual certification (or greater)
- Basic electrical circuits knowledge
- Welding and fabricating experience
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Comfortable operating and understanding production equipment
- Able to navigate SCADA systems, such as Scolari for roasting and associated coffee packaging systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
- Self-motivated and reliable with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills
- Clear, confident communicator with cross-functional teams
