Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all molding, stamping, assembly, packaging, and auxiliary machines while performing preventative and autonomous maintenance. Initiate and implement cost reduction and continuous improvement projects, and effectively use Mapcon to document all work performed. Participate in design review activities for new and existing equipment and maintain spare parts inventory. Operate various shop equipment and hand tools to perform repairs on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Full-time 3rd shift Sunday through Thursday, 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Sign-on bonus of $2,000 payable after 90 days. Requires 3-5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience and ability to read electrical schematics and PLC programs.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair production machinery; which includes electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Capable for reading and interpreting electrical schematic PLC programs and mechanical blueprints
- Ability to operate various shop equipment and hand tools to perform repairs
- Knowledge of world-class manufacturing practices
- General knowledge of Injection molding machines operation and processes
- General knowledge of machine controls
- Strong organizational skills
- Working knowledge of computers as well as Microsoft Office, Mapcon and PLC's
- 3-5 years manufacturing maintenance experience
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for Sunday - Thursday, 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM
