Job Summary
Maintenance Technician on the 3rd shift responsible for completing daily tasks in the Maintenance Department to maintain and improve the reliability of plant production assets. Adheres to SOPs, GMPs, safety protocols, and company standards; develops electrical and mechanical skills, takes initiative, accepts feedback from leads and managers, and contributes to building a World-Class Maintenance Department. Emphasizes safety (Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Hot Work, Hazard Communication), quality (GMP adherence), and continuous improvement, with emphasis on reporting tasks and meeting deadlines. Requires overtime as needed; duties performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to outdoor conditions and lifting up to 50-100 lbs occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- Two to four years of practical experience in the maintenance field
- Strong mechanical, electrical and troubleshooting skills
- Pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, pumps and gearbox repairs experience
- Fluent in Spanish and/or English preferred but not required
- Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) license preferred
