Job Summary
Maintain all equipment and facilities by performing scheduled preventive maintenance checks and procedures. Assist with machine set up, die change overs, and machining tasks including grinding, turning, and milling. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while safely operating machinery such as tube bending presses, hot forming presses, and lasers. Schedule time, material, and equipment required to complete jobs and properly use all hands tools. Complete all necessary forms and adhere to safety protocols. Work the 3rd shift at Multimatic Butler in Butler, Indiana.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum combination of two years experience in repair of production equipment, or machining, and/or formal training
- And/or journeyman's certification
- SPC abilities
- Ability to safely operate all machinery
- Ability to perform machine repair and die change over
- Ability to perform machine set up procedures
- Ability to perform machining tasks, such as grinding, turning & milling
- Ability to trouble shoot and resolve problems
- Ability to carry out procedures of the preventative maintenance program
- Ability to schedule time, material and equipment required to perform the job
- Ability to properly use time and complete all forms as required
- Ability to have or acquire all hands tools to perform the job
