Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Conduct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines, equipment, and plant facilities, including scheduled, unscheduled, and emergency repairs. Perform regular preventive maintenance while maintaining supporting documentation and utilizing Microsoft Office to order and schedule parts. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test adjustments, and report faulty operations to the facility maintenance manager. Work in a manufacturing environment following safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices, lifting up to 60 pounds and communicating effectively with line workers and supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year trades degree
- 4 years of plant maintenance experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age
- Able to read, write and speak English
- Bilingual capabilities
- Able to communicate and take direction from Sanitation Manager
- Able to communicate effectively with line workers, Leads, Supervisors and Plant Manager
- Attention to detail
- Legible record-keeping and data entry skills
- Highly motivated
- Flexible
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Welding and fabrication
- Full understanding of 3 Phase electrical
- Full understanding of tree phase motor controls
- Troubleshoot AC & DC drives
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
- Must be able to work weekend and night hours
