Job Summary
Conduct machine setup, inspection, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs for production and facility equipment including blenders, pumps, fillers, and packaging machinery. Diagnose and overhaul mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems by reading schematics, blueprints, and operation manuals while performing computerized work order and documentation tasks. Assist with system startups, calibration, and power testing while adhering to OSHA safety rules, GMPs, and Rana work standards. Requires 3-5 years of food manufacturing experience and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of related experience in packing machines/production machines
- specific experience in a food manufacturing plant
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve, maintain, and repair complex mechanical and pneumatic systems and electrical components
- Must be flexible to work weekends and other shifts as needed
- Able to work well independently, self motivated and as a team member
- Able to meet the physical requirements of the position requiring heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
