Job Summary
Install, repair, modify, and maintain food processing and packaging equipment across production lines in the Lincoln, Nebraska plant. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and electrical systems while troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Calibrate instrumentation and support production line changeovers, startups, and modifications. Execute welding, minor sheet metal work, and basic machine tool operations as needed. Complete required maintenance documentation and adhere to all safety, food safety, and regulatory standards. Work the 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift at an hourly rate of $31.55 plus a $1.00 differential.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year mechanical and technical experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- associate's degree in related field
- Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Welding experience
- familiarity with basic machine tool operation
- Willingness to continue technical education through courses, training, and seminars
- Commitment to following all safety, food safety, quality, uniform, and personal protective equipment policies
- Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time
- Performing consistent repetitive tasks
- Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials
