Job Summary
Conduct safe operation of machines and tools while installing, dismantling, and assembling equipment such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails. Interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures, then align, repair, lubricate, and weld machinery to structures. Perform preventative and total productive maintenance on industrial machinery and promote Ariens Core Values daily. Requires high school diploma, two years of industry experience, and ability to read safety manuals and perform mathematical calculations. 3rd shift position based in Brillion, WI.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years industry experience and/or training
- Strong language, mathematical, reasoning and computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all unites of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Able to frequently walk, sit and use hands to handle or feel
- Able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
