Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and heating systems while surveying buildings to ensure health and safety standards. Complete work orders within designated time frames and manage turn-over for all apartments moving out within five days. Prepare, prime, and paint building surfaces, maintain locks and controllers, and document fire suppression and alarm system status. Perform manual repairs including window replacements and lock fixes while keeping the work environment clean and safe. Document work performance and materials procurement as directed. Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational training programs.
Required Qualifications
- Previous working experience as a Maintenance Technician for (1) year(s)
- High school diploma
- In depth knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Applicable knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Problem solving aptitude
- Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday (8am-5pm) with rotating on call
Desired Qualifications
- Any additional relevant certification will be considered an advantage (HVAC, CMRP etc.)
