Job Summary
Maintenance Technician 3 performs preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment at Yesway and Allsup’s locations, serving as a subject matter expert for light electrical, light carpentry, plumbing, HVACR, and foodservice/beverage equipment; facilitates and inspects work by 3rd party vendors; ensures a safe and clean work environment; maintains inventory and tools on company vehicle; uses CMMS to manage and close work orders, update asset records, and track repair history; participates in training to stay current on equipment; contributes to team efforts and ensures work is completed with quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery with exceptional customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- three to five years’ experience in the maintenance field
- Experience or training in HVACR, Plumbing, Electrical, or Foodservice/Beverage repair
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, use hand/electric cart, power and hand tools; able to crouch/crawl and use a ladder
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and work independently
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable as a driver
- EPA 608 Type I & II certifications OR EPA 608 Universal HVAC certification, or willingness to obtain certification within a timeframe designated by management
