Job Summary
Execute preventive maintenance, respond to proactive and reactive work orders, and create documentation for equipment, facilities, and utility systems. Work independently and safely to ensure site continuity, adhering to an on-call rotation with a 45-60 minute response time and extended phone carry. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4+ years of experience in an industrial mechanical field
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to sit, stand, reach above the shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch or crawl for long periods of time
- Must be eligible to work in the US
- Must be able to arrive on-site within 45-60 minutes if called during on-call hours
- Must be able to carry an on-call phone for extended periods
- Must be able to participate in on-call rotation during off-hours
- Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow work instructions, manuals, and procedures
- Must be proficient in reading gauges and technical diagrams
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and efficiently
- Must have strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Must be a self-starter with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve VFD and PLC issues
- Must have experience troubleshooting, designing, installing, and maintaining electrical power and control circuits up to 480V
- Must have experience troubleshooting electrical motors
- Must be proficient in changing bearings, fittings, regulators, or other piping components
- Must have experience troubleshooting and repairing heating, air conditioning, and chiller systems
- Must have experience troubleshooting and repairing ventilation equipment (e.g., air handlers, exhaust systems)
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC certification or technical school training
- Knowledge of Ohm's Law
- Previous experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) facility
