Job Summary
Maintenance Technician 3 responsible for intermediate building repairs including electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting at Ingleside at Rock Creek. Requires five years HVAC/electrical/plumbing experience and two years of trade schooling or apprenticeship, plus Universal EPA Certification and Certified Maintenance Professional. Must be available 24 hours on-call during the week and perform rounds, preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and various trades tasks to support a not-for-profit Life Plan Community in Northwest Washington, DC. Excellent customer service, basic math and computer skills, and ability to document work orders are essential; on-site duties include lighting checks, HVAC system care, plumbing and electrical repairs, and general maintenance duties with opportunities for training and growth.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum of five (5) years HVAC/electrical/plumbing experience
- two (2) years of trade school, college or completed apprenticeship program or equivalent
- Universal EPA Certification
- Certified Maintenance Professional (or equivalent)
