Maintenance Technician - 2nd shift

Job Summary

Perform necessary repairs and maintenance on all production and facility equipment to ensure adequate machinery availability for day and night operations. Execute preventative maintenance schedules, review equipment reports, and maintain detailed repair logs per USF policy. Complete all applicable documentation for assembly and disassembly activities while complying with safety guidelines including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures. Manage company tools, replacement parts, and the battery-charging area inventory, securing all equipment and purchasing necessary supplies from local vendors when authorized. Work Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm with weekends off.

Required Qualifications

  • High School education or equivalent
  • Additional mechanic training or trade school degree
  • A minimum of six months previous mechanic experience
  • Knowledge of equipment repair and operation
  • Able to repair and overhaul warehouse & production equipment
  • Welding ability
  • Able to read and write legibly
  • Able to follow orders
  • Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Able to work with little direct supervision
  • Monday - Friday 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
  • Every weekend off

Desired Qualifications

  • High School education or equivalent preferred
  • Additional mechanic training or trade school degree preferred
