Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues while observing safety, environmental, and ITAR procedures. Read and utilize machine drawings such as electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to guide machine movement and complex tear downs. Assist with installations, placements, or movement of new or existing equipment and perform building repairs like painting, drywall, and cleaning. Utilize the CMMS system to maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, and expediting orders. Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines and perform 5S activities monthly. Work independently with managers and engineers to ensure equipment remains operational, with occasional overtime and weekend work required for repairs and installations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 5-7 years' industrial maintenance experience
- knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to read and utilize machine drawings including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints and fluid power diagrams
- Must perform 5S activities monthly
- ability to work independently without direct supervisor
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical/electrical CNC machine repair
- Experience in PLC programming
