Job Summary
Maintenance Technician performs preventative maintenance on cGMP production equipment, including boilers, HVAC, and purified water systems; conducts calibrations; assists in setup, teardown, and troubleshooting of production equipment; reads basic electrical diagrams and understands welding/plumbing/electrical concepts; follows CPI cGMP and safety practices; documents completed work; supports facility projects; training period 4–6 months with potential independent maintenance after training; role includes shift differential for off-shift work and adherence to GMP and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
- Basic understanding of MSDSs
- Knowledge of PPE and proper usage
- Ability to read, write, and speak English at a level necessary for job duties
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 55 lbs and move objects up to 150 lbs
