Job Summary
Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift at Revere Plastics Systems in McPherson, KS. The technician will work with engineering and maintenance to repair, develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and electric machines, robots, and secondary equipment; reading electrical and mechanical drawings; capability in EOAT design/fabrication and valve gate design/installation; potential forklift (sit-down and standup) and scissor lift certification; and ongoing professional development. Strong independent work capability and excellent communication are required, with physical duties including lifting up to 40 pounds and extended periods of standing, bending, and walking. The role emphasizes a team-centered, collaborative environment and adherence to OSHA-related requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years' experience in troubleshooting injection molding and secondary equipment
- Experience with robotics, programmable controls
- Industrial electrical knowledge or experience
- Experience reading electrical and mechanical drawings
- Capability of EOAT Design and Fabrication
- Proficiency in valve gate design and installation
- Willing to be certified on forklift (sit down and standup) and scissor lift
- Willingness to stay current with technology through continuous education
- Excellent communication skills
