Job Summary
Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment and associated electrical and electrical controls; also supports mechanical repairs, cleaning, machine maintenance, water treatment, and related activities to keep the facility tidy and functional. Duties include diagnosing problems from drawings or verbal instructions, troubleshooting PLCs and USD, wiring and conduit work, designing electrical, air, and gas distribution lines, modifying circuits and wiring diagrams, testing and tearing down equipment, performing preventive maintenance, guiding helpers on repair projects, training departmental staff, and selecting materials. Requires ability to read technical manuals and drawings, work with tools and equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes, and operate in a plant environment with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and variable conditions; physically capable of lifting and working in confined spaces and at heights. Possesses teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills and is able to work in a structured industrial manufacturing setting with a focus on safety and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training in Industrial Manufacturing, Electrical, Welding, Tradesman ship, or Military education preferred
- Proven experience as a maintenance worker in a manufacturing setting
